It all started when…

Andi was a kid who never outgrew her love of art. An interest in comics and graphic novels only spurred this further, leading to a brief stint in art school, and finally evolving into finding a proper tattoo apprenticeship in 2002.

She has been tattooing ever since, placing 20 years of tattoo experience under her belt, including co-founding The Fountainhead Tattoo in Edmonton. She stepped away from ownership when her and her husband moved to Squamish, BC for almost 6 years, but once their son was born the desire to return closer to family was unshakeable. This has happily brought her back to the Edmonton area, and working out of the studio she helped create. She has also had the privilege of stepping into mural work and graphic design.

This career has seen her work with many influences, though her style leans toward her love of comic book art, Art Nouveau, illustrative works, and neo-traditional tattoos. She also enjoys the challenge of cover-up work, and is pleased to tackle both big and small works, colour and black and grey.

Andi resides in the lovely city of St. Albert with her husband, son, and dog who offer never-ending inspiration and support.
